Aberdeen - Place at the mouth of the river "Dee".(River Devona - River of the devine goddess)

Granted it's first royal charter in 1180ad and soon became a popular seaport trading in fish and timber

Aberdeen was attacked three times in the 13th century during the English/Scottish wars and was finally raised to the ground by Edward 3rd This was followed by the building of "New Aberdeen" in the late 1500's
